This Bokhara rug was hand-woven in the 1940s. It has aged beautifully with abrash hues ranging from pale, oxide red to a sienna yellow. Two columns of guls occupy the center field of the rectangle. The guls are woven with blue, red, and ivory hues. They are framed by borders with geometric elements.
The rug is newly cleaned.
