1940s Dorothy Draper Slipper Chair

This Dorothy Draper slipper chair was made in the 1940s. It is reupholstered in a woven wool fabric. The back cushion is firm. It scrolls back and is button-tufted. The seat cushion is soft and can be detached. A noteworthy design detail is the elegant piping which gives the slipper chair a nice, clean line. The legs are hardwood in a dark-brown finish.
