1960s Italian Chrome Chandelier by Gaetano Sciolari

This chandelier was designed by Gaetano Sciolari in the 1960s. The Italian designer wedded the minimalist lines of Modernism with more the ornate and glamorous aspects of Art Deco. These resulted in striking pieces like this chandelier, rendered in a silvery chrome. Structurally, there are 12 arms for 12 lightbulb sockets. The chandelier is newly rewired. This is a beautiful center-piece lighting that would illuminate any interior and add the electric vitality of Space Age designs.
