This Bokhara rug was hand-woven in the first quarter of the 20th Century. It is a small and squarish in shape. The rug has aged beautifully with abrash hues ranging from pale, oxide red to faded salmon. Three columns of traditional guls occupy the center field of the square. The guls are woven with blue, red, and ivory hues. They are framed by borders with geometric elements.
The rug is newly cleaned.
